Top Pot Doughnuts is a Seattle staple, and I have been working there for about 4 years now. Every year, the first Friday in June is National Doughnut Day and a big deal for this company. I asked the owner if I could contribute in someway, and he asked me to make a sticker. Top Pot celebrates every "holiday" with custom shirts and promotional materials.

For this design, the owner asked me to capture the summer time vibe since National Doughnut Day is kind of a mark of the beginning of summer. So I made a beach scene inside the shape of a doughnut, with the hole and frosting being the sun and rays. The font chosen is a throw back to the '70s Ocean Pacific brand, along with the colors.
